Request a Board-Ready Proposal
We assess every building, photograph what we find, and deliver a proposal formatted for a board packet — with per-building pricing and phasing options rather than one number to take or leave.
What the assessment covers
- Every building, assessed and photographed individually
- System type, approximate age, observed condition and remaining-useful-life opinion
- Whether a second layer is present, which changes tear-off cost
- Attic ventilation — intake as well as exhaust
- Visible rot indications at fascia, eaves and sheathing
- Gutters, flashings, valleys, pipe boots and skylights
What the proposal contains
- A written scope specific enough for other contractors to bid against
- Per-building pricing, and the period that pricing holds for
- Rot allowance rates: per sheet of sheathing, per linear foot of fascia
- Phasing options with a recommended sequence and the reasoning
- Permit, debris disposal, daily clean-up and inspection, included and stated
- Licence, workers' compensation and liability certificates attached
No charge, and no obligation
The assessment is free within Sacramento County and the report is yours, including if the board uses it to write a specification and bid the project to three other contractors. That is a legitimate use of it and we would rather be compared on a level scope.
Common questions
Is the assessment really free?
Yes, within Sacramento County, and the board keeps the photographic report and written scope whether or not it engages us.
How soon can you get us a proposal?
Field time depends on the number of buildings. For a typical community, expect the assessment within a week or two of access being arranged and the written proposal shortly after — timed to land before your next board meeting where possible.
